Biography
Casey designs monitoring, controls, and automation hardware for Bowery. With background in both electrical and mechanical engineering, Casey helps bridge the gap between the online and physical realms so Bowery’s software systems can monitor and optimize crop growth. Prior to his time at Bowery, Casey worked on automated sample handling for Connectomics research, designed hardware for data acquisition and LED lighting control, taught engineering design and developed ultrasonic bonding technology for fuel cell manufacturing. In his spare time, he enjoys SCUBA diving, cooking, brewing beer, tinkering with high voltage, and making chainmaille.
