Biography
The Reverend Dr. Allison Albert Trites is a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick. He earned his BA degree in Philosophy and History with honours from the University of New Brunswick. After earning two divinity degrees in the United States, Allison received the Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Oxford in 1968. His dissertation was published in Cambridge University Press’s distinguished Society of New Testament Studies Monograph series. Dr. Trites was appointed to the Faculty of Theology of Acadia University in 1965.
