Biography
Konrad is the Chief Technology Officer at Aspect and is responsible for our technology and intellectual property development. He is also a Professor in the Department of Engineering at the University of British Columbia, with broad research experience working in microsystems and nanotechnology and over 75 publications on these topics. Konrad serves on the Board of Directors for the Medical Device Development Centre, a non-profit incubator focusing on the commercialization of medical devices. He was awarded the 2004 Alberta Science and Technology Leaders of Tomorrow Award. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computational Nanotechnology from the University of Calgary.
