Gaby Bourbara

Biography

Gaby Bourbara is the Vice-President, Oncology at AstraZeneca Canada Inc., part of AstraZeneca PLC, one of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical companies.  He has more than 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, predominantly within marketing and sales functions. Gaby recently returned to Canada from AstraZeneca in the United States (U.S.), where he has spent the last six years in senior leader roles.  In his previous role as U.S. Lung Cancer Franchise Head, Gaby was a member of the U.S. Oncology Leadership Team and was responsible for leading AstraZeneca’s U.S. Lung Cancer Franchise commercial team.  In addition to other roles within the U.S. business, including Executive Director Sales roles in Oncology and Primary Care respectively, and Commercial Business Leader for the Respiratory Franchise, Gaby previously worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles at AstraZeneca Canada.   Gaby has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and a MBA from McMaster University. Gaby and his wife Jennifer have three children and live in Oakville.
