Kara Mcnulty

Biography

Kara McNulty is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of Finance & Information Technology with AstraZeneca Canada Inc., part of AstraZeneca PLC, one of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical companies. Kara has 20 years of experience in the innovative pharmaceutical industry, including 14 years with AstraZeneca U.S. In her most recent role with AstraZeneca U.S., Kara was the Director of Business Planning, Performance and Analytics, responsible for coordinating the annual budgeting process across all areas of the U.S. business, as well as delivering financial reporting to the North American CFO and U.S. Leadership Team. She has extensive experience providing strategic financial counsel and support to many areas of the U.S. business, including Sales and Marketing, Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs, Medical Affairs and Legal. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Kara worked in financial reporting and strategic planning at DuPont Pharmaceuticals, as well as in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers – PWC). Kara has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia. She has two daughters with her husband Ken – Maggie and Lucy.
