Biography
Dr. Andy Igonor is an Information Technology and Security professional with over 20 years of academic and professional experience working across different industries including Healthcare, Finance and Telecommunications. His experience includes using his knowledge of security tools, techniques and best practices to help create and deploy solutions that protect systems and information assets, especially for clients in healthcare. He worked on major projects with the Brandon Healthcare Trust, UK; Health Canada; the Physician Office System Program (POSP), Alberta, Canada; and the Business Development Bank of Canada, in the areas of security threat and risk assessments of cloud-deployed solutions, privacy impact assessments, and the development of security architectures. He has also been involved in the selection and implementation of electronic health records (EHR) systems, as well as Enterprise Resource Planning systems including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics (GP, NAV), SAGE, Exact etc. for large, small and medium sized clients.
