Biography
Dr. Douglas Campbell is a privately employed economics consultant in Memphis, TN. For ten years, he was an Economics Instructor in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis. He was also the Director of the Center for Economic Education at the University of Memphis and the Director of the Smart Tennessee program, which trains teachers to teach financial literacy in grades K through 8. He joined the University of Memphis Department of Economics faculty in August of 2006. Before arriving in Memphis, he was a visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, where he completed his Ph.D. in Economics in 2004.
