Marina Guastucci

Biography

Marina is a life-long Bay Area resident, yogini mama and woodland pixie. She leads classes and adventures both locally and in far off magical lands. Her offerings invite students to explore each asana and moment with passion and curiosity. Her alignment-rich and highly creative vinyasa classes, as well as her innovative workshops and retreats, are designed to guide students toward living more vibrant and potent lives from the inside out. Her teachings integrate elements of somatic movement, follow the rhythms of nature and include various meditation and pranayama techniques. Before yoga took hold of Marina’s soul, she received her BA in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley, where her continuing passion for social justice was formed. Her day to day life is spent mostly at home rearranging furniture for fun, in the woods collecting leaves with her kiddo, mountain biking just infrequently enough that she’s sore after every single ride, and gardening (simply).
