Biography
Mr.Ball is a founder and CEO of ZBx Corporation, a manufacturer of point-of-care diagnostic test kits, located in Toronto and with partnerships and licensees in Europe, China and Brazil. Prior to the establishment of ZBx in 2002, Mr. Ball participated in the formation and management of several businesses, later focusing in the newly emerging sector of rapid diagnostic testing and related technologies. In 1991 he co-founded Spectral Diagnostics Inc., a company subsequently listed on NASDAQ and the Toronto Stock Exchange, where he was Chairman and CEO until 2000. Mr. Ball has a B.A. in Economics and Commerce from Carleton University, Ottawa and a M.A. in Policy Analysis from the New School for Social Research, New York City.
