Brian J. Pak

Biography

Dr. Pak joined Axela in May 2007 as Senior Scientist and Manager of Research Markets (Canada) and has led Axela’s infectious disease and immunology research programs. Prior to joining Axela, Dr. Pak was Scientific Program Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories (Canada) Ltd. and Country Manager (Canada) for Ciphergen Biosystems Inc. where he was responsible for all scientific and business development activities related to their mass spectrometry-based biomarker discovery platform. Dr. Pak brings over 13 years of experience in proteomics, clinically-oriented biomarker discovery/validation and assay development. Dr. Pak received his Ph.D. in Anatomy and Cell Biology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and completed his postdoctoral fellowship in Cancer Biology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the University of Toronto.
