Biography
Melissa is experienced in conducting terrestrial and aquatic environment inventories for the assessment of ecosystem functions and sensitivity. She has been involved in numerous terrestrial and aquatic restoration projects relating to the improvement of Provincially Significant Wetlands and Areas of Natural and Scientific Interest. She routinely completes projects within terrestrial and wetland environs for the development of Environmental Impact Assessments and the acquisition of Municipal, Provincial and Federal environmental approvals. This has involved such activities as the creation of vegetation enhancement plans, terrestrial biological inventory and evaluation of ecological systems, and Species at Risk assessments.
