Mike Francis

Biography

 Mike is an experienced Biologist, who joined the Azimuth team in November 2016. Mike’s areas of expertise include botany and restoration ecology, with additional professional experiences conducting bird, amphibian, and reptile surveys. At Azimuth, Mike works with the terrestrial ecology team to conduct Environmental Impact Studies, Species at Risk Screenings, and general restoration plans, among other projects. Before Azimuth, Mike held a variety of positions in the private and not-for-profit sectors, managing projects primarily focused on ecological restoration and Species at Risk conservation. Mike is certified in Ecological Land Classification and Class 2 Backpack Electrofishing.
