Biography
Lorenzo Simonelli is the Chief Executive Officer of Baker Hughes, a GE company. He previously served as the Senior Vice President, GE and President and Chief Executive Officer, GE Oil & Gas from October 2013 to July 2017. Before joining GE Oil & Gas, Simonelli was the Senior Vice President, GE and President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Transportation from July 2008 to October 2013. Simonelli joined GE in 1994, starting in GE’s Financial Management Program where he subsequently worked on assignments in GE International, GE Shared Services, GE Oil & Gas and Consolidated Financial Insurance. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer, Americas for GE Consumer & Industrial, as well as General Manager, Product Management, for GE Appliances, Lighting, Electrical Distribution and Motors.
