Biography
Mark MacLachlan, Ph,D. is a professor in the Department of Chemistry at UBC. His research focuses on the area of supramolecular material chemistry, developing novel organic and inorganic materials with tuneable structures and properties. His research group develops diverse materials including liquid crystals, cellulosic materials, polymers and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), to address scientific and engineering problems.
