Merle is an intellectual property attorney registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and admitted to practice law in California. He has been preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patents and trademarks, conducting patent and trademark infringement and freedom to operate reviews, drafting related opinions and IP related financing due diligence. He has prepared IP related, manufacturing, distribution, and development agreements, and provided litigation support for intellectual property related legal actions for over 20 years, representing startup companies.
