Biography
Michael Hutchison Q.C., LL.B., is the principal and president of the Smith Hutchison Law Corporation. Hutchison has previously served as the external solicitor for the University of Victoria, as general counsel for the College of Optometrists of British Columbia, chairman of the board of governors for Camosun College and was the founding chairman of the British Columbia Private Post-Secondary Education Commission. Hutchison also has experience representing a number of start-up technology based corporations. Hutchison is currently a member of the board of directors for the Victoria Heart Institute Foundation.
