Biography
Peter Weiler joined the BioSyent team in August 2017 as Vice-President of Business Development and is responsible for execution of the company’s portfolio expansion strategy. Peter has extensive expertise in the commercial assessment, valuation, and negotiation of new product licensing opportunities, developed over more than 15 years in the pharmaceutical and financial industries. Most recently, Peter led the licensing and acquisition efforts at Cipher Pharmaceuticals as Vice-President, Business Development. Previously, Peter was Senior Director of Analysis & Research with DRI Capital and started his professional career at Eli Lilly Canada, with roles in finance and market research. Peter holds an M.Sc. (biology) and an MBA, both from the University of Western Ontario.
