Biography
Iman Mohamed joined BIOTECanada in October 2013 as Manager, Health Policy. Iman leads and supports BIOTECanada’s policy activities in health biotechnology with a specific focus on market and patient access issues and in the area of subsequent entry biologics (SEBs). Prior to joining BIOTECanada, Iman worked at Rx&D. In 2012- 2013 she was one of ten young professionals selected for the prestigious Parliamentary Internship Programme. Iman brings with her five years of experience working for the federal government and she has worked in Botswana and Zambia with international development organizations. Iman holds a Masters degree in International Public Policy from the Balsillie School of International Affairs at Wilfrid Laurier University, a Graduate Certificate in Public Management and Governance from the University of Ottawa and a BA (Honours) in Political Science from Carleton University.
