Biography
David Young did B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Queen’s University (1986). He worked in R&D, process development, and manufacturing at Cangene Corporation from 1986-1998. He was then promoted to Sales Manager, Contract Manufacturing at Cangene in 1998 – 2009. He was transitioned to National Sales Manager in Canada for Cangene’s WinRho and HepaGam B products in 2009-2012. He established consulting business in the pharma/biotech industry focused on drug development, contract manufacturing, healthcare investment banking and business development in 2012. He joined BioVectra as Product Manager for the Bioprocessing Reagents Group in 2016.
