Biography
Mr. Shaw is an entrepreneurial minded business executive and leader, combining strong financial and operational management experience with strategy development and capital formation experience in startup, family owned, and private equity backed companies. Mr. Shaw has successfully led companies through transitions including startup to profitable high growth, family owned to private equity backed, turn around to financial viability, and unregulated to regulated and has advised many early stage companies on financial and deal structure matters. Mr. Shaw has significant transaction experience including raising startup capital from both private and professional investors, obtaining growth financing, securing credit facilities, leading mergers & acquisitions, and in creating exits for investors. Mr. Shaw is the Founder and President of LogiCore Strategies, LLC. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Roberts Office Furniture Concepts, Inc., with responsibility for all aspects of the business including strategy development, sales management, production operations, administration and finance. As the fourth employee at telecom startup US Datanet Corp., Mr. Shaw served as Sr. Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, Treasurer, and a Director with responsibility for all finance and accounting operations in addition to operating responsibility for the wholesale line of business. Mr. Shaw served as Chief Financial Officer and a Director Harden Furniture, Inc., with responsibility for all administrative, finance, and accounting operations in addition to overseeing trucking, sawmill, and forestry operations. Mr. Shaw led the senior team through a strategy development process and managed the company during a very distressed period, ensuring continued viability. Mr. Shaw led the turnaround of a distressed line of business that continues to generate significant profitability. He collaborated with the CEO in the development and launch of a new brand that accounted for a significant portion of annual revenuesMr. Shaw began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC (then Coopers & Lybrand), working on both the audit and tax staff and has also held financial management positions at Camden Wire Company, United Technologies Corp., Aspen Dental Management, and High Peaks Hospitality. Mr. Shaw holds a BS in Accounting from LeMoyne College with a minor in Federal Income Taxation and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the State of New York. He is the Vice Chairman of the LeMoyne College Board of Regents, serves on the Board of Directors of Harden Furniture, and previously served on the Board of Directors of US Datanet Corp.
