Biography
Mr. Bird has 29 years of experience as an officer of a number of public companies, and serves on the Board of Directors or Trustees of Enbridge Energy Partners L.P., Enbridge Pipelines Inc., Enbridge Income Fund Holdings Inc. and Bird Construction Inc. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alberta Investment Management Company and Chairman of its audit committee. Mr. Bird is also a member of the Investment Committee of the University of Calgary Board of Governors. He was named Canada’s CFO of the Year for 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, and a Masters of Business Administration and PhD from the University of Toronto and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
