Biography
Mr. Ryan was appointed Chief Financial Officer on September 6, 2016. Before joining Boart Longyear, he served as Rio Tinto’s Global Head of Business Evaluation. Prior to that time, he held a number of senior executive roles with the company. Mr. Ryan’s experience also includes engineering and operations roles at Shell Coal in Australia. Mr. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from the University of Queensland and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford.
