Biography
Mr. Closner was appointed Vice President, General Counsel and Executive Committee member in October 2017. Since joining the Company in 2008, Mr. Closner has served in several key leadership positions for Boart Longyear as Regional General Counsel, mostly recently responsible for the Americas, where he oversaw compliance matters, provided legal guidance and conducted customer negotiations. Prior to his VP appointment, Mr. Closner held the position of Interim Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Closner received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and attained his Juris Doctorate in Law from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
