Biography
Andrew M. Eason is a graduate of several post-secondary institutions across Canada, including Booth UC. Andrew received his Doctor of Philosophy in Religious Studies from the University of Calgary in late 2005.
Research Interest
Trained broadly in Christian history, theology, and world religions, Prof. Eason has been a passionate student of The Salvation Army for more than two decades. His research interests include the life and thought of the Army’s cofounders (William and Catherine Booth), the organization’s development in Victorian Britain and colonial settings (especially India and South Africa), and the influence of gender on early Salvationist roles and responsibilities.
