Biography
Penny Armstrong, along with her husband Bob, has been in ministry for 35 years. She began her career as a Registered Nurse, followed by 28 years in pastoral ministry, and for the past 7 years has been a Director of OASIS Ministries. Penny is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who works with individuals, couples, and families in private practice and assists pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders through the work of OASIS.
Research Interest
Penny enjoys facilitating small group retreats and providing workshops in the areas of burnout, grief and loss, and self care. Penny is the co-author of Couple Care, a pre-marriage manual. Penny loves a good story, good chocolate, and a good laugh, but most importantly, time spent with friends and family.
