Cathy Demas

Biography

Cathy Demas joined Brandon University as an Instructional Associate with the start of the new 4- year Bachelor of Science Psychiatric Nursing in the fall of 1995. Prior to this she worked for 10 years as an Instructor in the psychiatric nursing diploma program at the Center for Psychiatric Nursing Education. Cathy was responsible for clinical and laboratory instructions up until 2004. In 2004 she assumed the responsibilities of the Student Advisor for the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing and the Bachelor of Science in Mental Health (post-diploma) programs. Cathy advises the Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health students on their progression of the specific requirements of their degree. She is also responsible for handling enquiries regarding the psychiatric nursing programs at Brandon University.
