Grant Wilson

Biography

Grant is entering his fourth year as head coach of the men’s volleyball team, for which he had been an Assistant coach since the team's inception in 2005. Grant is a fully certified NCCP Level III Volleyball Coach and has a Master's Degree in Sport Science with an emphasis in Sport Psychology. He has coached at junior and senior high school levels, winning the AAA Championship with the Neelin Spartans in 1999. In 2006, Grant had the opportunity to be an assistant coach with the Youth Men's National Team. Grant has coached in the Provincial Team program as an assistant, capturing a bronze medal with the 2001 Canada Games team and as head coach of the silver medalists MB midget team in 1999. Grant also started the volleyball program for the Assiniboine Community College Cougars in 2000. Grant was also named the MVA Developmental Coach of the Year in 2001.
