Biography
Anamitra Shome has been at Brock University since 1997. He obtained his MBA from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and his PhD from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec after gathering extensive experience in foreign exchange banking in India, where he acquired his first (undergraduate) and second (graduate) degree in Science and the Humanities respectively. He brings his wide work experience and varied academic background to the classroom, where he also uses his research interests to enrich his course offerings. His areas of specialization lie primarily in management information systems, managerial accounting, international business, and business ethics.
Research Interest
Professor Shome's main research interests are in the areas of behavoural accounting, information systems, international business, and business ethics.
