Biography
Dr. Danny Cho is a Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management in the Faculty of Business. He holds a B.A.Sc. and a M.Eng. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from McMaster University with concentrations on Management Science and Information Systems. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Cho is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), certified and recognized by the Association for Operations Management (APICS).
Research Interest
Dr. Cho's research areas include supply chain network design, supplier selection and purchasing decision, purchasing managers' index, maintenance and reliability, quantitative information systems, business economics, and quality management. Dr. Cho was a recipient of a Discovery Research Grant funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada. His work is currently supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada through its Standard Research Grant.
