Biography
EUGENE KACIAK, PhD, dr hab., is Professor of Management at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. He earned both his M.Sc. in Economics (Management Science) and PhD in Economics (Econometrics) at Warsaw School of Economics (Poland), and his Doctor Habilitatus degree (the postdoctoral degree) at Kozminski University, Warsaw. He taught at various business schools in Poland (Warsaw School of Economics, Krakow Academy of Economics, Kozminski University), Algeria (University of Algiers), and Canada (University of Alberta, Laurentian University, and Brock University).
Research Interest
"Current research interests: - Laddering (Means-End Chain-based) methods in social sciences - theory and practice (his ongoing studies involve analysis of factors influencing smoking behaviour, wine consumption, and residential recycling) - Co-evolution of emerging markets (EMs) and multinational enterprises (MNEs) - International Entrepreneurship"
