Biography
Hui Di Wang is Associate Professor in the Department of Health Sciences in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at Brock University. Prior to joining Brock University, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Saskatchewan. She received her Bachelor degree from the Shanghai Medical University in China, and Ph.D. from the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Saskatchewan. I was then a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston University in the USA.
Research Interest
"Understanding of the biology, physiology and pathology of adventitia in cardiovascular function Adventitial oxidative stress of blood vessels, a key factor in contributing to the vascular dysfunction associated with cardiovascular disease The expression of vitamin D synthesizing 1α-hydroxylase and vitamin D receptors and their role in vascular oxidative stress and calcification processes"
