Biography
My clinical nursing experience focused primarily on obstetrics, labour and delivery, nursery, and postpartum. My teaching experience started as a preceptor for staff and students in the hospital. Then, I received my Masters from the University of Texas Pan-American where I taught in an undergraduate nursing program for 8 years. Upon my return to Canada I earned my PhD in Nursing and have been teaching at Brock University since 2007.

Qualitative methodology; The use of technology, specifically simulation as a teaching/learning strategy in nursing; Interprofessional education; International student nursing experiences
