Biography
Dr. Lucie Thibault teaches policy, governance, globalization, and organizational theory as they apply to sport and leisure organizations. She also investigates Canadian government involvement in sport excellence and sport participation and athlete involvement in sport governance. She is co-editor of Contemporary Sport Management and Sport Policy in Canada. She has also published numerous refereed articles and book chapters. She was awarded North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) Research Fellow in 2001 and received the Dr. Earle F. Zeigler Award from NASSM in 2008 for her contribution to the field of sport management.
