Biography
Dr. Voronov received his Ph.D. from Columbia University (2006), where he also earned MPhil (2005) and MA (2003). His BA (Magna Cum Laude) is from Connecticut College (2000). He conducts research on how culture (such as institutional arrangements, social norms, and history) influences organizations and people, as well as on how culture can be used strategically. He is especially interested in the roles that emotions and power play in these processes. Dr. Voronov's work appears or is forthcoming in such leading management journals as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, and Organization, among others.
