Biography
Dr. Trish Ruebottom received her PhD from the Schulich School of Business at York University (2013). She received an MBA from Trinity College Dublin (2004), and a BA (2000) and BSc (1998) from the University of Guelph.
Research Interest
Dr. Ruebottom's research interests lie at the intersection of social innovation and agency. Specifically, she explores the language employed by social enterprises and social movement organizations as they engage in creating social change. She is currently examining the role of storytelling in mobilizing stakeholders. Her work has been published in the Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Business Ethics, MIT/Sloan Management Review and the Social Enterprise Journal.
