Biography
Dr. Yan Wang is Assistant Professor of Finance, holds Ph.D. in Finance from University of Manitoba. Prior to joining Brock, Dr. Wang has taught at University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Canada) and Dalhousie University (Halifax, Canada). She has taught a range of courses at undergraduate and graduate levels including Corporate Finance, Investments, and Fixed Income Securities. She also worked as a Manager of Financial Model Validation & Approval for Global Risk Management, Bank of Nova Scotia in Toronto.
Research Interest
Dr. Wang's research interests are in areas of asset pricing (both theoretical & empirical), international finance, risk management, and behavioral finance.
