Biography
Dr. Zhefeng Liu is an Associate Professor of Accounting, joined the Faculty of Business in 2010. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Queen's University (Ontario), MBA from Case Western Reserve University (Ohio), and MA from Kent State University (Ohio) . Prior to joining Brock, Dr. Liu taught at the University of Saskatchewan. He also worked as a project manager for PolyOne Corporation (Ohio) from 2000-2003. He has taught Introduction to Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting and Advanced Financial Accounting as well as graduate level courses.
Research Interest
Accounting conservatism, earnings quality, earnings management, corporate disclosures, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, shareholder litigation, accounting regulation, market pricing of accruals, and international accounting.
