Peter Weightman

Biography

Peter Weightman has been President of BrokerLink since January 2010. In his more than 25 years with Intact Financial Corporation (IFC), he has held a number of leadership positions in both the United States and Canada. Prior to his current role, he was Senior Vice President, Claims, where he worked to build an industry-leading claims experience for IFC customers. Prior to his claims role, Peter was Senior Vice President, Commercial Lines where he was responsible for Intact’s commercial lines strategy including underwriting, pricing, and product development. Peter earned a BSc in business administration and an MSc in business education from Illinois State University. He holds a number of industry and professional designations including Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Underwriting (AU), Associate in Insurance Management (AIM), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI). He completed the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2006.
