Peter Weightman

Biography

Mr. Peter Weightman, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI, has been President of Canada Brokerlink Inc. since January 2010. Mr. Weightman served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lines at Intact Financial Corporation. He served as Senior Vice President of Claims at Intact Financial Corporation since 2008 until 2010. He has more than 20 years ago, he has held number of leadership positions in both Canada and the United States. He holds a number of industry and professional designations including Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Underwriting (AU), Associate in Insurance Management (AIM), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI). He completed the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2006. He earned a BSc in business administration and an MSc in business education from Illinois State University.
