Biography
In his role, he will be leading efforts to look broadly at our business and projects supporting both the business operation and our ramp-up for MCR and Asset Management activities. John is not new to Bruce Power having participated in the Units 1 and 2 refurbishment efforts, and he will return to our business bringing these and other experiences and lessons learned. John has been most recently the President of Energy East, a TransCanada subsidiary, with overall responsibility for the Energy East Pipeline Project. John was with TransCanada for over 20 years in various roles, including Vice President of Project Management for the Energy East Pipeline Project. Prior to that, he led the development and safe installation of all facilities and pipeline infrastructure projects within TransCanada’s Natural Gas and Power Divisions in Canada and the United States. During his work at Bruce Power, John was the Vice President of the Bruce A Restart Project. He also holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, with distinction, from the Haskayne School of Business and is a Mechanical Engineering Technologist and a Fourth Class Power Engineer.
