Biography
Kelly Trice joined Bruce Power as our Executive Vice President, Projects and Field Services, in July 2017. In this new role, Kelly will be responsible for Major Component Replacement, Asset Management, Sustaining Capital and site-wide Project Controls. Kelly brings to Bruce Power executive leadership with extensive engineering and projects experience. Previously, Kelly was the President of Facilities & Plant Services for a large U.S.-based engineering and construction business with projects in Europe, South America, Asia and North America. He was responsible for leading the company’s nuclear division and the chemical and fossil division which performed work on approximately 40 per cent of the U.S. nuclear operating fleet and another 150 petrochemical plants. Additional responsibilities included environmental and infrastructure services, program and construction management; engineering, procurement and construction; emergency response and disaster recovery; environmental remediation and coastal engineering and restoration. Kelly also served as the President of the company’s power division, which constructed large-scale power plants, and as President of their Project Services Group, the proxy company responsible for the Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication program. Kelly is a graduate of the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program where he served in the Navy for six years as an Officer on a nuclear submarine. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico.
