Biography
Brandon’s area of focus is geotechnical engineering and construction testing and inspection projects. He is experienced in geotechnical investigations and various construction-related inspections and field testing for projects ranging in scale from single residential dwellings to large civil infrastructure. Brandon provides recommendations for shallow and deep foundation design, retaining wall design, slope stability, excavation, backfill, groundwater control, and pavement design. He also conducts intrusive concrete condition assessments and associated reports for bridges, dams, and slab-on-grade.
Research Interest
Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), groundwater monitoring programs, and how to handle excess soils generated during construction.
