Biography
Christian Böhm received his Ph.D. in geochronology and isotope geology from ETH Zurich in Switzerland, and conducted his post-doctoral research at the University of Alberta. He joined the Manitoba Geological Survey (MGS) in 2002 and became head of the Precambrian Mapping section 2009, and has been the Acting Director of the MGS since 2012. Christian is also currently the Executive Director of the National Geological Surveys Committee (NGSC) and of the Committee of Provincial and Territorial Geologists (CPTG), as well as a past President of the Precambrian Division of the Geological Association of Canada
