Biography
Blair MacInnis is an Instructor in the Electrical Technology, Electronics and Controls program at CBU. He is registered professional engineer in Nova Scotia and Ontario. He has an Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technology Diploma (Instrumentation and Controls) from CBU and a B.Eng. (Electrical) from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. Before joining CBU, he spent ~10 years in the Canadian nuclear power/isotope industry working for Atomic Energy of Canada, Ontario Power Generation and Bruce Power Limited in various roles such as control maintainer, maintenance engineer and electrical design engineer. Blair’s teaching philosophy focuses on applying what he has learned in industry, staying current with industry trends, and bringing that to the classroom with special attention to industrial safety.
