Biography
Dr. Chris McDonald’s publications include Rush, Rock Music, and the Middle Class: Dreaming in Middletown (Indiana UP, 2009) as well as scholarly articles on alternative rock, jazz, and Celtic pop music. He has taught courses in popular music history, classical music, world music, music appreciation, theory, and music and society. A private guitar and piano teacher, Chris also enjoys performing in classical, popular and traditional styles
