Biography
Stan Chapman studied violin with Vera Campbell and progressed through Royal Conservatory violin and theory exams. A retired classroom music teacher, his interest in music was inspired by his father and uncle who were both fiddlers. He has taught the Cape Breton fiddle style through private lessons, international workshops and summer programs. He has conducted fiddle groups, including the Cape Breton Fiddlers Association.
