Biography
Ph.D. (University of British Columbia); Major: Special Education - Autism M.A. (University of British Columbia); Major: Special Education - Autism Diploma in Education (University of British Columbia); Major: Deaf Education B.Ed. (University of British Columbia); Major: Elementary Education, Special Education Dr. Fossett is a faculty member in the Applied Behavior Analysis - Autism Department at Capilano University, where she has been since 2013. Prior to that she was Assistant Professor (Special Education) in the Department of Educational Psychology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta and an Instructor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia. She is also a certified teacher of the deaf.
Research Interest
Her scholarly and clinical interests include: applied behavior analysis, the implementation of positive behavior support in home and school settings, and educational interventions for deaf children with developmental disabilities.
