Biography
Calvin Thiessen graduated from UBC Law School in 1994 after receiving a degree in criminology from SFU. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1994. Cal practised personal injury law mainly on the plaintiff's side for several years before joining Swadden & Company in 2006, where the main focus of his practice was defending personal injury claims on behalf of ICBC. Cal now teaches paralegal students at Capilano University, where he is a permanent member of faculty. Cal travels frequently and widely and has visited all six continents.
