Biography
Carol has been teaching in the Health Care Assistant program at Capilano since 2010. Her career in nursing education has taken her to Algonquin College, John Abbott College, the University of New Brunswick and Seneca College. Through these positions, she has had the pleasure of teaching nursing arts to students at both the practical nursing and baccalaureate level. Teaching in the HCA program has been an especially fulfilling opportunity. HCAs provide direct personal care to elderly persons in facilities and the community. Their role is essential to the quality of life of our most vulnerable senior citizens; and Carol is committed to coaching the students to develop both skilled and compassionate care.​
