Biography
Conrad teaches Comparative Politics, the European Union, and Political Studies at Capilano University, and is the Co-Director of the European Study Tour and Internship Program. He completed his Honours BA in History at the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education at Simon Fraser University, an MA in European Studies at UBC, and is soon expecting his PhD in Political Science, also from UBC. Conrad has written journal articles and book chapters on education and research policy in the European Union, which stem from his interest in comparative public policy in Canada and Europe.
Research Interest
He is also interested in political philosophy, especially theories of the state. Conrad has enjoyed living in several countries in Europe and beyond, with recent sojourns devoted to research or teaching.
